I.Warm-up
1. Greet students. Sing the song “What would you like?” together.
2. Ask: What's the song about? Food or toys?

II.Presentation
1. Show the picture of Mike and his mum. T: Look! It's morning. Mike is at home. What can you see?
Play the Let's talk video. T: What would Mike like?
Check answer: He'd like some bread and eggs. Teach bread, eggs.
Play again. T: Mum gives Mike some bread and eggs. What does she say?
Present: Here you are. Have some milk too. Teach milk.
2. Mike has breakfast at home. What about Sarah and Zhang Peng? They are at a restaurant!
Show the Let's learn picture. T: Look at the menu. What would Sarah like?
Play the dialogue: Sarah: I'd like some milk and bread. (Review milk, bread)
T: What would Zhang Peng like? He'd like some juice and noodles. Teach juice, noodles.
Show cake, egg pictures. Teach cake, egg (egg已学,强化认读).
3. Contrast “I'd like...” and “Have some...”:
I'd like... = I want...(自己想要)
Have some... = Please eat/drink...(建议别人)
Drill the sentences with word cards.

1. Let's order food! You are the waiter/waitress and customers.
2. Demonstrate with a student:
Waiter: Here's the menu. What would you like?
Customer: I'd like some juice and noodles, please.
Waiter: Here you are. Have some cake too?
Customer: Thanks!
3. Group work: Four in a group. Two are customers. Two are shop assistant. Order food in a restaurant. Then, invite groups to act out.
